someone told me that
everything changes
only change is constant
which boils down to the fact that
only God is constant.
my friends around me would probably have noticed, I've grown more serious about God throughout this year. i can't deny it's God working in my life, forcing me to grow out of my comfort zone. everyone hates to be out of their comfort zone, when they're forced to be stretched and to experience sometimes painful growth.
but it's only through these adversities when we really seek and trust the Lord, we grow.
'...because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character; character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.'
Romans 5:3-5
i began to know what lost actually means today.
i think for my friends who are non Christians, it may seem like I'm a religious Christian, who at times talked about how God loves us so much and all. It may seem like another Christian trying to promote his/her religion. You may think that we should respect every religion. You may think that, 'that's your belief. everyone has his/her own beliefs. i have mine too.' or many other things. i don't know.
it may sound ridiculous to you that:
Jesus answered, 'I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes through the Father (God) except through me.'
John 14:6
it means that only by believing in Jesus, we have eternal life; also means going to heaven after death on earth.
i contemplated again whether to post this. it may sound offensive to some of you.
but i need to let my friends know the truth, Jesus is the truth.
Christianity is not a religion. It's a personal relationship with God.
I've encountered God personally many times. An encounter with God is not just an emotional experience, but He transformed me; and I see His transformation taking place in me. and this transformation is not temporary, this peace is not temporary, it's eternal. I'm always an unfinished product of God, God is always teaching me, changing me from the inside out.
it may sound cliche, but have you encountered God in your life? i mean truly, personally experience God's love so evident in your life?
i challenge you, find out more. You, my friend, CANNOT miss out the truth.
