aiks. today i missed my eg1413 class (overslept), which attendance contributes to my grade. started off my day with a bad mood. thank God for Cynthia who listened to my laments and advised and comforted me, and Yau Luong who helped me email the tutor (couldn't think well that time, was too frustrated). if not for them, my day would have been worse. thanks so much! sometimes it's difficult to give thanks during our hard times. but i was reminded again that we should rejoice in suffering, cuz suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; character then hope (romans 5). thank God for realigning my focus. that i shouldnt focus on my own weariness, but to focus on Him, the creator of the heaven and earth, the God who knows everything about me, even when i don't even know myself. He's the source of all my strength, power, joy, wisdom, peace.

God is my rock. thank God that i missed my class today, that I realigned my focus, learnt to cherish my friends more, and learnt to rejoice in my sufferings. like Peter who walked on water, I wanna just trust everything unto Him and walk by faith, not by sight (:
