was sending my fifth aunt off to Australia just now, together with my family. hope they settle down well there. hmm a new start is certainly exciting, but tough at the same time. at the point of departure, my cousin started crying after hugging my aunt, followed by others. i didn't cry. maybe cuz i'm not really close to my fifth aunt. but i think if it's someone i'm close to, i'd probably cry a lot before that. haha. anyway i don't like departures. i suck at saying goodbyes.
but yeah, everyone's worried bout my grandmother, cuz normally she'll be occupied by the 2 kids in the house. now that they're gone, yup no doubt she'll be lonely. yikes. think i need to go to grandma's house more often. i guess presence means alot, even though i suck at hokkien. gosh i should really pick up this difficult language, can't seem to get the hang of it. what's worse, malaysia's hokkien and singapore hokkien is different.. argh. nvm. will just try my best. i always smile at her. seems that i smile at ppl quite often. haha.
hmm my dad's side family really values relationships, especially when it comes to family. guess i inherited that part. i value family more when i come here. when i got separated from my grandaunt, i learnt to cherish her more. when i see my dad more, my heart aches more. people who don't know me will probably think i'm strong in dealing with emotions. but i don't know, lots of times i suck at it that's why i avoid it sometimes.
but God is really amazing. He made me cry don't know countless times, when lots of other situations seldom make me cry. He breaks my heart (in a good way), so that my heart will not be hardened by the hurts and disappointments. He touches the deepest part of my heart and fill it with His love, His amazing love. Of course there're some wounds that have yet recovered, but i pray that He will keep my heart pure as long as I live.
